The Savox servo is the problem here. It is drawing too much power from the internal BEC, and causing the erratic behavior. With an external battery, there is plenty of power available, so the simplest fix is to run an external BEC. Our CC BEC 10A is perfect for your truck, and will allow you to program the exact voltage you want to run to the servo with, and can be wired into the main battery plug to share power with the esc.
